The Relationship Between Kindness and Codependence.

Kind people possess and set boundaries, which preserve all they are and have built for their well-being and those they choose to extend their well-being to. It's part of the magic humans are capable of. We must preserve what we want, if we want to Be or Become whatever we want to see. Without boundaries, kindness becomes codependency.
People who are kind attract people who engage in addiction, have complex mental health problems, and are exploitative. Therefore, boundaries are not optional and must be firm.
Don't expect a warm welcome to such measures. After all, disappointment is in the space between what one expects and what they get. It's like saying "no" to a toddler with an expected outcome of sudden agreeability. At that point, it's time to reflect on one's own sanity for even considering. 🤔
Be what you want to see! With love, Keya Diné 🤎
