On Becoming

They say a spiritually enlightened person knows the path is through subtraction, not addition. They remove what they don't want to make room for what they do.
In 2017, I did just that. I took an Inventory and removed everything that was creating resistance to my well-being and choices. Well, all but my 12 year old son. Some things simply aren't optional and obviously come with resistance.
Gathered up in a portable 1-800-You'veGotJunk dumpster, most of my belongings were hauled off to destinations unknown; for an exorbitant amount of money still a fraction of their cost. I missed nothing!
We lived nomadically, out of a 31 foot RV, with our 3 dogs, various cats, and a horse, at 4 different ranches. From a distance, the adventure of a lifetime. In reality, a very painful process of accountablity mixed with letting go.
When there is nothing left but you and yours, some things become clearer.
Highlights of nuggets learned:
1) Unempowered people with a little bit of power are full of fuckery.
2) You can't out run painful truths.
3) The only way out is through.
4) There is no adult in the room.
5) Humans are apes in clothing who overestimate their value individually and collectively in Universal expansion.
6) We are all Universal instances of a possibility.
7) We owe it to ourselves and the collective to Become that instance.
8) There is no good or bad, just is, until you add humans and belief.
9) Judgement is an inside job.
10) You get more of what you focus on.
Most importantly, if you desire to see something in or receive something from an individual or the collective, you may need to become that possibility. If you can't, aren't perfect at it, or won't, be kind to others who can't either. It's being human (See #5).
Still, choose your company wisely! Karma is contagious.
