Some lives are full of original blessings and charged with strife. This is the intersection of potential and opportunity. The possibilities for expansion are greatest under such circumstances. Consequently, Universal support is abundantly available.
However, there is also a tendency for the challenges of self-pity to arise in such conditions. It is easiest to see ourselves in others. If we don't know where we begin and end, there is a tendency to replace accountability with blame. In those moments, we give up our opportunity to experience greatness. Every moment and challenge is a new one! Who are we if not for our choices? It is through them we have the ability to cocreate.
It is the role of the parental caregiver to teach personal boundaries. Caregivers who expect children to bend their perceptions of reality for them have missed that point and committed a great sin against their offspring. That's why it elicits such outrage. It robs a soul of identity and purpose. It's cruel, as is not bothering to address it or own any of the problems that come with it.
The Depression babies screwed up the Boomers who screwed the Millennials...reparenting the self is the solution. Many simply won't be able to. But those with potential and grit will! Those who choose accountability over blame will. I suspect those are "the meek".
Be what you want to see! With Love, Keya Diné
